[BECKY DOES] a tumon walking tour! ♡

Welcome to Tumon, Guam!
So #dailykevin and I decided to do a little walking tour of Tumon today. I never realized how many beautiful colors and interesting architecture there is in that village. We'll have to start sampling all the new restaurants and cafes that have popped up over there in that last couple of years!  This was such an inspirational walk - there will definitely be more of this to come! ♡

[BECKY DOES] quick bite / Cafe Maru: waffle w/ ice cream

location: Tumon, Gu (next to DFS Galleria)
food: waffle w/ espresso ice cream
price: $$ mid range (waffle was $5.99)
taste: The waffle was moist - not chewy or too crispy. Although this is such a simple dessert, it had a variety of tastes and flavors! The waffle was made from scratch and topped with just the right amount of ice cream and whipped cream ( I hate desserts that are drowning in their sauces. ew!).
thoughts: This was the first time #dailykevin and I have been to Cafe Maru. It's a hidden gem! This quaint little cafe is situated in the heart of Tumon and where you'd least expect it. I find this to be the perfect getaway if you just want to take a break from the chaos of life. lol.
customer service: friendly and helpful.
